Family portraits are a powerful thing. They capture our memory and connect us to those who came before us. Your children become connected to their own story by letting them see photos from the past and the present. Family portraits on display around your home can also boost your child's self-esteem as they see their family as a whole unit, and feel valued by seeing themselves represented in that unit.
How often should I update our family portrait? I truly believe that annually is valuable to document all the changes in your family, which could be a new family member (human or pet), or your child having gone through a growth spurt!
