Sarah Joy Photography offers studio and in your home newborn sessions. I pride myself in providing a safe, quiet and comfortable private session to capture your new arrival in their first days earth side.
Newborn portraits are a beautiful memory that captures your baby at their smallest! Time goes so fast, and they grow so much during their first few weeks. These portraits will be cherished for a lifetime.
FAQ
How long will the session take?
Newborn sessions begin at 9.30am on weekdays. Please allow 3 hours for your newborn session, and 3-4 hours when you include family and sibling photos. This time allows for feeding, posing and settling your baby, as well as catering for siblings as this can be a big event for them too.
When to book?
I recommend that you secure your date around the second trimester. I can only accept a certain number of newborn sessions each month, so be sure to get in touch sooner rather than later so you don't miss out!
HOT TIP: Book as soon as possible to begin paying off your session in small increments, and you will barely notice the investment in your timeless memories!
How do I know when to book my session?
Book your session for your baby's due date. We will discuss your session date once baby arrives, and this is typically 5-14 days of life. You are welcome to have your photos later than this, it will however limit the props, wraps and poses we are able to capture as baby is less sleepy and tend to wriggle around more.
How long does it take to receive my photos?
Please allow 2-3 weeks to receive your photos. Products are an additional 2 weeks for delivery.
How can I pay for my session?
We accept cash, electronic transfers, and card payments. Split payments can be arranged (all must be paid prior to your session), as well as Afterpay.
